Small group guided 2-Day Mt. Fuji Sunrise Tour at summit crater rim for 2026 season.

Mt. Fuji 2 Day Sunrise Climb

Open for 2026 season bookings!

The Classic Mt. Fuji Summit Experience

Our comprehensive 2-Day Mt. Fuji Sunrise Tour offers a seamless and memorable hike to Japan's iconic peak. Designed for those seeking the legendary Fuji summit sunrise without the stress of the logistics, this journey balances physical reward with the safety and flawless logistics that only a premium, semi-private small group operation can provide.

The Gold Standard on Mt. Fuji

Every aspect of our tours has been thoughtfully crafted to deliver an unmatched guest experience that sets our trips apart.  We refuse to operate mass-market bus tours and overcrowded group climbs on the mountain; Instead, we offer intimate, boutique alpine operations where your comfort, safety, and cultural immersion are our highest priorities.

The Mt. Fuji Guides Premium:

  • Exclusive Semi-Private Groups:  2-day tours are strictly capped at a maximum of 12 guests to maintain an intimate team dynamic.

  • Dedicated Individual Attention: We manage a premium 1:6 guide-to-guest ratio across all trips, ensuring your physical well-being and altitude adaptation are actively monitored.

  • Acclimatization Pace: We use a deliberate, steady 5-hour summit ascent pace to optimize heart rate efficiency and give you the best chance of a successful summit.

  • Veteran Cultural Guides:  Every hike is led exclusively by certified, bilingual, professional mountain guides.  As long-term residents of Japan, they share genuine historical and cultural insights that go far beyond far basic trail directions.

  •  Zero-Hassle Advantage: You show up, we handle the rest. We manage your 2026 mountain registration, hut bookings, Tokyo pick-up, luggage storage, and hiking gear rentals seamlessly behind the scenes so you can focus 100% on your climb.

  • Official Guiding Company: We are authorized to lead guests to the summit via Shizuoka Prefecture's three primary trails. Because we operate our own trips rather than brokering third-party services, you deal directly with English speaking, Mt. Fuji experts when you book your tour with us.

  • Adaptive Route Options: Streamlined group sizes allow us to pivot our ascent or descent routes dynamically. We can bypass congested paths, opt for a more scenic descent trail, or adjust our route on the fly to maximize safety during alpine weather shifts.

Rental Alpine Equipment Available

Having the right technical equipment drastically increases your comfort and your chances of a successful summit. To help you travel light or simply cover items you may be missing, Mt. Fuji Guides has a full inventory of essential rental alpine clothing and gear tailored specifically for the mountain's terrain and variable conditions.
