If you are on an in-season trip, there will be an option to purchase a wooden hiking pole, a classic Mt. Fuji souvenir which you can get stamped along the way to the summit.

On very rainy days, a backpack rain cover will not be enough to keep the contents of your backpack dry. You will be glad to have an extra measure of safety to keep warm layers, electronics and other essentials dry!
