Private 1 Day Mt Fuji Climbs

Climbing Mt. Fuji in a single day provides a unique experience and a personal challenge. While preparation is key, the rewards of solitude, breathtaking views, and a sense of accomplishment make it an unforgettable adventure.

Everything you need is covered: experienced English-speaking guides, rental equipment and comfortable transportation to and from Mt. Fuji from Tokyo or greater Mt Fuji area (Hakone, Fuji 5 Lakes).

You can choose to get picked up at your hotel in central Tokyo or accommodation closer to Mt Fuji (Gotemba, Hakone, etc)!

The day starts with an early morning pick up (usually around 0500 AM for central Tokyo)

We will then transfer by private van to the Fujinomiya Trailhead (2400m) via Gotemba City.

In Gotemba, we will make a pit stop for a last min opportunity to stock up on any supplies (snacks, water, etc) as well as a bathroom break and gear up (change, receive your rentals, if any) for the hike.

We will then continue for another 60 mins to the trailhead.

From around 0900AM the hiking starts and the goal for the day is to climb about1400 vertical meters to the top of Mt Fuji which is at 3776m (average 4-5 hours)

If the weather conditions are good, the summit displays the crater and some of the best views Japan has to offer.

From there the descent takes on average 3-4 hours. 

Upon a safe arrival back to the trailhead, we will head back to your accommodation.
